Meals Weekly is operated by Fortitude Frames Consulting ("we", "us"). You can reach us at dennis@kimden.com.au. These terms apply to your use of Meals Weekly at meals.fortitudeframesconsulting.net.
One account covers one household. You may share it within your household. You are responsible for keeping the password to yourself and for what is done with your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
We may suspend or close an account that is shared beyond one household, used to break these terms, or used to upload material the account holder has no right to upload.
Meals Weekly is A$110 per year or A$11 per month. Prices include GST. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not refund the current one.
We will give you at least 14 days' notice before any price rise takes effect on your renewal.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If there is a major failure you are entitled to cancel and to a refund for the unused part, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. If the failure is not major you are entitled to have the problem fixed in a reasonable time.
Outside that, if you change your mind within 14 days of your first payment, email us and we will refund it.
You keep ownership of everything you add - your own recipes, your pantry, your plans, your notes. We do not claim it.
So that the app can work, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, back up, display and format that material for the purpose of running Meals Weekly for you. That licence is transferable and can be sub-licensed only where it is needed to run or transfer the service - for example if the business changes hands. It ends when you delete the material or your account, except for backups that age out on their normal cycle.
When you save a recipe up to the Meals Weekly library, you confirm that you wrote it, or that you are allowed to share it. A list of ingredients and bare method steps is generally not protected by copyright, but the way a recipe is written, its headnotes and its photographs usually are. Please do not paste in a cookbook page, a food blog post or someone's photo and tell us it is yours.
If you upload material you had no right to upload, you agree to cover us for any claim that results.
Takedowns. If you believe something in Meals Weekly infringes your copyright, email dennis@kimden.com.au with enough detail to identify the recipe, and we will remove it while we look into it. We record where each recipe came from and who added it, so we can act on this properly.
Where you are named as the author of something you add, we will keep that attribution on it.
Meals Weekly is not medical, dietary or nutritional advice. It is a planning tool for home cooks.
Nutrition figures, categories such as low-carb or gluten-free, and prep plans are estimates. Several are worked out automatically from the words in a recipe, and they can be wrong. Do not rely on them if you are managing a medical condition, a food allergy or an intolerance, or if you are pregnant. Always read the actual product labels.
If you have a health condition or a serious allergy, talk to a doctor or an accredited practising dietitian. Do not use this app as a substitute.
You are responsible for safe food handling, cooking temperatures and storage times. Prep-ahead suggestions are general and do not account for your kitchen, your fridge or your ingredients.
Scanning a shopping docket or a shelf photo, estimating nutrition and building a prep plan all use automated systems, including third-party AI services. They misread things. Every scan gives you a review screen before anything is saved - please use it. We are not responsible for a shopping list or a pantry count that is wrong because a scan misread a receipt.
There are fair-use limits on these features so one account cannot exhaust them for everyone.
Do not attempt to break into the service or other people's accounts, scrape it wholesale, resell access, or upload anything unlawful, abusive or malicious.
We aim to keep Meals Weekly running but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something significant that you are paying for, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of your period.
Keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose. The app has an export.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our total liability to you is limited to resupplying the service or refunding what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, whichever we choose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
You can cancel or delete your account at any time from within the app. We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and we will refund the unused part of your period unless the breach was deliberate.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you by email at least 14 days beforehand, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction.
